Mekong Meris is committed to protecting customer personal data pursuant to Vietnam Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15, Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP, and Consumer Protection Law No. 19/2023/QH15. We collect and process only data strictly necessary for order fulfillment and customer service.

We categorize and process personal data for explicit purposes:

• Delivery Recipient: Full name, phone number, delivery address strictly for packing and dispatch delivery.
• Transaction Records: Order ID, items, COD payable amount for reconciliation, accounting, and tax filing.
• Customer Support: Contact phone, email, notes, complaint photos for dispute resolution, refunds, replacements.
• Security Logs: IP address, browser user-agent, cart session cookie for cybersecurity and fraud prevention.

Payment Security Guarantee: Mekong Meris never collects or stores banking credentials, credit card numbers, or CVV codes on our website.

To complete cold-chain delivery, recipient contact details (name, phone, address) are transferred strictly to contracted logistics providers. Partners are legally bound to confidentiality and authorized to use recipient information solely for delivery fulfillment.

• Order & Delivery Records: Retained for 12 months post-fulfillment for customer care, claims, and warranty verification, after which contact PII is deleted or pseudonymized.
• Accounting & Financial Invoices: Retained strictly per mandatory statutory periods under Vietnamese Accounting Law (5 to 10 years).
• System Security Logs: Retained on a rolling 30-to-90-day automatic overwrite cycle for platform cybersecurity.

Customers retain full statutory rights regarding their personal data, including the rights to be informed, consent or withdraw consent, access, rectify, request erasure, and restrict processing (except where voucher retention is mandatory under law).
